“Enlightenment does not mean getting rid of the negative, but smiles at the positive.”
When performing services in Kuta Bali 12/10 2023, nature provides a very beautiful mirror of enlightenment. Once again the mirror is very beautiful.
After the morning prayer, when Guruji sprinkled Tirtha for Jero Mangku from Pura Luhur Besakih Jmk Ign Putra Kubayan, the sky was full of clouds in the shape of LOVE.
In the afternoon it was scheduled to share the Light at 17:30, but it was only available at 19:30. Guruji waited at Warung Mina for more than two hours.
After waiting patiently for more than 2 hours, just sharing the Light in less than 10 minutes, most guests whom government officials leave without permission.
That is enlightenment. In the morning the sky salutes so high through clouds in the shape of LOVE. At night, humans on earth responded in a touching way.
In the language of meditation: “One step forward, one step backward.” in the morning sky gave a plus one sign. In the night, humans on earth gave a minus one sign.
In the Yin-Yang framework of enlightenment, the Yin aspect of enlightenment is called emptiness (empty of thought), the Yang aspect of enlightenment is mindfulness (full awareness).
The number – 1 added to + 1 produces emptiness. In Buddhism it is called Wisdom. Balinese elders call it Hyang Embang (the most high silence).
In the words of the great poet Jalludin Rumi: “Silence is the only language of God. The rest is just a mistake in translation.”
The message for close friends is that the passive side of enlightenment is indeed peace. But the active side is Compassion.
Legendary singer Bob Marley was once asked why he never took a day off. The answer is very good and touching.
“If those who spread violence never know time off, why should I take a day off?”
That is the characteristic of an enlightened person. Inside it is neatly kept, that in nature is empty. But this emptiness is expressed outwardly in the form of Compassion.
That’s what makes the sky salute so beautifully in Kuta Bali on the morning of October 12 2023. Hopefully all friends are healthy & happy with their families.
