Cleaning the mirror of life

If you see pimple in the mirror, don’t be angry to the mirror. If you meet problematic person, don’t judge them. They are only your honest mirror.

Firts of all clean the mind. Be a witness to all movements of mind. Rest the mind in this moment as it is. Whatever happen, simply share beautiful smile.

Secondly, clean the heart. Forgiving will help you much. Compassion even more powerful. We all suffer. We’re here to lessen the other’s suffering.

Your most powerful tool in cleaning the mirror of life is love in action. Learn to grow from love which want to get happiness from the others.

To love which want to give happiness to the others. If possible, learn unconditional love. Remember, the best gift of love is love itself.

The golden steps in this case is like this: “Fall in love, rise in love, bloom into love”. While teenagers fall in love, mature people rise in love.

And the enlightened bloom into love. In this stage, love is no longer a spiritual task, it is your natural nature. As natural as water which is wet, flower which is beautiful.

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
