Compassion Spiritual Family News: The path of enlightenment for a Luminous soul

Written by Gede Prama

Refreshing our memories of FB live Wednesday 21-8-2019, if the spiritual beginners are advised to stay away from the poisonous tree of life, the adult souls are advised to take care of the poisoned tree, the luminous souls are advised to process the poison into medicine. From the poisons of suffering, mental injuries, chronic diseases, until the poisons of sexual misconduct. Sex in particular, it resembles high voltage electricity. There are two choices. Die by the electric shock or it can help the soul becomes very radiant.

Very few people can pass this path. Especially because it is very dangerous. Toxins of disease are treated by reading the spiritual message behind the disease. Suffering is treated as a fine sandpaper. Soul wounds are saviors in disguise. Processing sex into medicine, it’s not for beginner’s public consumption. What is clear is that one of the luminous masters who passed the sex road was Saraha. Who discovered and announced: “My body is the highest holy temple for myself”.

Because it is very dangerous, this path is guarded by the power of deep devotion to the true Master. Suppose that, suffering is like a dry leaf. Holy teachings are like sunlight. Profound devotion to the true Guru is a magnifying glass placed between the two. So that the dry leaves of suffering burn out. Arjuna in Hinduism is an example of deep devotion to the true Guru Shri Krishna. Jetsun Milarepa in Buddha is another example. Very dangerous mistakes not only can be purified, they can even be processed into enlightenment. Once again, this is a very dangerous path, only those who have a deep devotion to a true Guru may pass.

About the author

Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
