Every Land is a Holy Land

The earth has been crammed with countless sacred teachings.  Even the sacred teachings of one religion, if studied to the end, will may not be enough to study it only in this one life time.  At the same time, the earth’s aura is not getting cooler day by day.  This super long crisis even have shown us, the earth’s surface is increasingly hot from day to day.

So what is needed more by the earth and the inhabitants of the earth are not holy teachings that can be memorized, or even holy teachings that are used to attack other people, but what we need is the holy teaching that are truly implemented in daily life.  Once again the one’s that is implemented in the daily life.  Every friend who “implements” the holy teachings diligently and sincerely will understands thay the holy teachings indeed can heal as well as reconcile our life.

At this point, someone must be askig, what is the essence of the sacred teachings which are stored and implemented in the Ashram?  The long path in the Ashram leads into two paths, the road to the right contains the words Compassion (Balinese elders call it urip lan nguripi), the road to the left contains the inscription Wisdom ( Balinese elders call it Nyepi lan ngewindu).

Every close friend who comes to the Ashram is respectfully asked while walking the paths of the Ashram, imagine you are the most peaceful human being on earth.  Then as you walk, imagine you are distributing peaceful vibrations to the earth’s surface in each every step.  In short, there are no step to peace, peace is the step.

In the Ashram, Guruji also meditates almost every day.  It is a form of non-surgical approach of healing.  Meditation heals not by changing, but by smiling beautifully.  The greatest gift of meditation is to lead people to find their true home in the present moment.  At the Ashram, there is an inscription written: “I’ve arrived”.  On the other side it was written: “I’m home”

That is the essence of the sacred teachings that are stored, implemented and disseminated through in the Ashram.  To share gratitude to all friends, not to brag, 17 years after the Ashram was founded, there used to be young people who were drunk and fighting in the street every night.  Now they are long gone.  In the past, every afternoon many youngster seen doing metajen (gambling cockfighting), now there are none.

At the same time, the wild birds that came here are very calm.  A number of old birds chose to spend their last days in the Ashram.  Notice the message of an old holy book Vajrachedika Prajnaparamita Sutra: “Wherever this sacred teaching is kept, or even practiced and embodied, there humans and demigods will come to make offerings”.

To share happiness with close friends, not to increase the ego, a number of Compassion’s close friends who often accompanied Guruji to pray at the Ashram told us that every time we prayed there are  light flew above the ashram.  Possibly, they were gods.  But never use this message to increase the inner ego.

Use this message to beautify the soul in our everyday life.  That’s why Compassion’s “super close” friends have long been given the 3 deep message: “A belly which is not big, a family that are full of harmony, emotions that are not easily ignite”.  Especially so that all friends can turn their house beautifully into their own private temple.

This message is important to convey, especially since one Research University in India concluded: “The more people visit a holy place, the more depressing the soil chemistry is.”  This is not a bad news, but actually a good news, so that people become more serious in building a private temple in their own homes.

In conclusion, in ancient times, it was the Light in the sky that determined where the holy place was on earth.  In this super complicated era, it is the beautiful heart that determines where the holy place is on earth.  May all beings be happy.  I hope my close friends are healthy and safe.
