Healed by Time

Written by Gede Prama

In the midst of this super long crisis, not a few people have been made sick by time. Lack of work and inactivity make the time spin very slowly and at the same time very boring. In order for friends to be healthy and safe, here is a reflection to be healed by time …

In order to be able to surf beautifully in the middle of a stretch of time, do what is liked and loved
In order not to be bored and bored by time, meet up with close friends. Good friends are medicine
In order to feel the beautiful contours of time, make a long list of things to be grateful for
In order not to get tired of anxiety over time, sing your favorite songs especially your childhood songs
In order not to get bored with time, find the anchor of joy around you. From birds singing, to sound of waves, blooming flowers
In order to escape the monotony of time, do something different today
In order to be a close friend with time, play and sing with the children
To make time appear to be smiling beautifully, cook your childhood favorite food
In order not to be hurt by time, look at life and events using the innocent eyes of a child
In order to be made healthy by the time, smile. A smile is a sign that you are a master in life
In order to be freed and at the same time made peaceful by the time, always feel the gap between two breaths.

About the author

Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
