Heart-Touching Bali

Written by Gede Prama

We did not expect the response from mother nature, particularly in Bali, to be this beautiful. When the “Holy Book” of the Compassion family was distributed to the eastern and western part of Bali, Mount Agung that resides in the east and Mount Batukaru that resides in the west of Bali was covered with beautiful umbrella-shaped clouds. When the “Holy Book” was distributed in southern Bali, the sky was filled with beautiful rainbows. Some were even double rainbows.

Yesterday when the “Holy Book” was distributed in North Bali, a small earthquake occurred, measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale. All these seem to concur with an old message that had once descended on the roof of the earth – Tibet : “Whenever Light is born on earth, the earth will salute with a small earthquake, and the sky will salute with a beautiful rainbow”.

To close friends, please use these beautiful responses from mother earth to make our attitude more beautiful. The praise from mother nature is not here to steal our humility. Instead, it is here to strengthen our humility. From the deepest depths of my heart, through this forum I’d like to say: “Thank you to the island of Bali, thank you, thank you…”

To answer many friends who asked, the “Holy Book” is not for sale but is available for download (or printing) for free at the following link:

About the author

Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
