How To Be Healthy And Survive During These Dangerous Time

Written by Gede Prama

The decision of many countries (including Indonesia) to make peace with the corona virus is a good news. First, it is a sign that humans no longer fighting against nature, but learn to be in harmony with nature. Secondly, it has spread a beautiful understanding of the corona virus. Viruses are part of nature’s way of maintaining the balance of ecosystem. Third of all, let us all live in harmony.

To contemplate deeper, in this round of times the most convincing way of self-protection are harmony and balance in nature. Provisions stepped later, always train yourself to look like the sky, act like mother earth. When looking at anything and anyone, see everything is well. Like the sky that covers everything.

Good health is good, but illness is also good. Pain gives a sign that the way of life must be changed. Happiness is good, sadness is also good. Because sadness opens the door to a deeper happiness. Through this perspective, on the one hand there is not much energy leaked through the mind, on the other hand all friends are very convincingly being connected with nature. And it keeps your life securely protected.

But once when we need to take action, learn deeply from our motherland. Everything that comes into ourlife are useful flowers and fruit. Suffering is not punishment, it is a very convincing way to grow toward maturity. Disease is not a demon, he is an angel in disguise. If you read the message behind your disease, the disease are here not to kill us. It helps our soul to grow.

That’s the way to process all the things that happens in life. Those who can combine Heavenly Father with Mother Earth, in this life will experience many amazing things. Borrowing a lyric from Phil Collins song: “no more, no more …”.

You are no longer looking for anything. Like someone who has arrived home, why do you still looking for a home. The body is a home of beauty of the soul. In simple but beautiful language: “Having a place to go is home. Having someone to love is family”. Every place is home. Every sentient beings is our beautiful family.

About the author

Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
