The Thrown Away Gift

Written by Gede Prama

Any anxious souls bring a stench that could be easily sensed by anyone whose meeting them. It shows that the related person has been keeping way too many negative inner conversation. As one of the signs, nearly all these restless souls tend to always refer themselves as a “victim”, and define whoever whom hurt them as the “enemy”.

Year after year, starting from childhood to teenagehood, teenagehood to adulthood, adulthood to elderhood, nearly all inner conversations involve the constant battle between the victim and the enemy. Although the appearance of the enemy keep on changing, yet, from time to time, the inner quarrelling has never been stopped.

In results, not only causing an energy drained, yet could also make someone sick. Many of them even has to be treated in the mental hospital. And the most heartbreaking one is those who cannot be saved as they have committed suicide. As a material of contemplation, kindly have a look on the following explications as a way to help you to stay healthy and safe.

Despite of the extensive experience a counselor might has, he will not be of much help if the inner conversation of a person constantly contains a battle between the victim and the enemy. Therefore, it is highly recommended to evolve from being a “victim” into becoming a “saviour angel”. Being your own saviour angel, to be more precise.

In a more concrete way, learn to spend less energy to talk and to think of those who hurt you. In the contrary, learn to see those painful experience not as a punishment, yet as a pile of lessons. There are many priceless lessons of life in it.

It is definitely very inconvenient to have a divorced parent. Yet, learn to use that feeling of discomfort to build a strong and healthy family of your own. Being beaten during childhood is indeed inflicting a deep soul wound. Yet you could use that soul wound as a strong determination to take a very good and gentle care of children.

Being bullied with unpleasant words is certainly painful. Yet, you can always rewrite your own life story. More importantly by creating a long list of beautiful things that ever been done during your lifetime. From the good grade achieved during school time, the experience of winning in a sport match, until the experience of getting accepted in a decent workplace.

Deeper than that, learn to use pain to discover the unique and authentic face of your own.

Those who hurt you is actually being very kind, as they are telling you that the path they went through is not worth to be followed. Thus, forcing you to create a path of your very own.

Pain is similar to a lotus flower that is being forced to grow in a dry ground. The feeling of deeply suffered enforced the lotus flower to move into wet mud. It then creates beautiful ending, it is pain that makes the lotus flower beautifully bloom. Borrowing the title of a book: “Pain, the gift that nobody want”. Pain is a wonderful gift that being thrown away by almost everyone.

The fate of those, whom managed to transform from a “victim” to be a “saviour angel” and then being able to see pain as a beautiful gift, will be like a dolphin that finds the ocean. Similar to butterflies that find a beautiful flower garden. With just a little effort, these kind of souls will be evolving from a wounded soul into becoming a bearer of light.
