In the past, IQ (intelligence quotient) was considered to be the most important measurement of leaders. In this approach, almost everything tend to be quantified.
As time change, history grow from violence to violence, many scientists begin to doubt IQ. Some even concluded, it was IQ which created a lot of war and conflict.
Especially because the person who choosed to be leaders are the one with high IQ. Thanks God, time change, many people begin to develop EQ (emotional intelligence) and SQ (spiritual intelligence).
Harvard professor Daniel Goleman Ph.D is one of the pioneer in this case. Howard Gardner Ph.D with multiple intelligence is also another pioneer.
The last EQ and SQ are far softer than IQ. The criteria of becoming leaders are no longer cleverness only, but also involving kindness. Not only head but also heart.
In the last 10 years, when earth is very chaotic especially because of the long pandemic, many famous journal like Psychology Today underline the importance of the intelligence of flowing.
Another famous journal Harvard Medical School many times wrote the importance of “the psychology of the flow” as important approach of healing especially.
The main teacher in this case is water. People around the world are persuaded to be more flexible, more flowing like water in the river.
It’s not something to do with survival only, but also deeply connected with health, happiness and peace. In this perspective, it’s not coincidence that the Balinese elder called their religion as the religion of holy water.
Befor praying, people are sprinkled with holy water, after praying again people are sprinkled with holy water. The message is the same: “The intelligence of flowing”.
If we are blessed to “sprinkle” the last holy water to the coming world leaders of G20, it’s not impossible that the war in Ukranine can be stopped, many human tragedies can be avoided.
