Welcoming World Leaders of G20 in Bali (part 16)

Everytime Balinese pray in the temple, there’s one important thing to do that can not be bargained, it’s turning on the incense.

There’s something incomplete when we the Balinese do not turn on the incense in the temple. There are many messages are hidden there.

One of the important message is you all have the seeds of light within. All of you without exception. The material of contemplation then, light is not the enemy of darkness.

Light is the resut of synthesing negative-positive inside. In the terminology of Balinese elders, it’s called rwa-binedha. Darkness and light are inseparable.

One of a Balinese lady asked this question once: “If we give suguhan to satan outside, what should we give to the satan inside?”.

Self-forgiveness, self-acceptance, self-love, that’s well-nourished nutrition to satan inside. It’s like bringng candle to darkness, darkness will disappear.

To be frank to all spiritual friends, it’s this kind of spirit which makes Bali island full of light. The spiritual homework then, the Light is too precious to be saved in Bali only.

It’s time to share the last beautiful light to the world. Particularly because, in this cycle of time the darkness of earth deeply miss beautiful light.

Welcome to Bali world leaders of G20. It’s a deep honour to share the peace vibration of Bali island to all of you. May all beings are happy.

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
