Words That Heal The Soul

Following the coming age of freedom which is supported by the presence of affordable technological devices such as Facebook, Twitter and blog, a lot of people like to express their ideas and emotions in public space. Do not talk about the ordinary people, even the President of big countries can be openly criticized in public.

Of course there is the positive sides of freedom like this. It is like water which fail to flow for years in huge pipe, suddenly the pipe is opened. It brings a flood of ideas and emotions here and there. On the one hand there is a healthy medium for channeling people emotions, on the other hand the cosmic order here and there are increasingly saddening.

As has been long discovered in the field of psychology, the unresolved emotions which have been accumulated for years can disturb the long term health. From this point of view, expressing ideas and emotions in public space help the healing process of society.

Similar to the neighbor who littering on the street, the neighbor’s house is getting cleaner of course, but the street as public space becomes such messy. At this point, society need the certain degree of balance. We all need space to express our thoughts and emotions, at the same time we all need a healthy public space for the sake of souls growth.

One of the way human soul to learn is to replicate the others. In the science of learning has been noted, for the negative things like anger, revenge and jealousy the energy can spread much faster than the positive things like love, kindness and compassion. For that reason, it simply unimaginable what is going to happen to the public sphere when people excessively express their negative emotions in public. It is even more difficult to imagine what kind of civilization that will be followed by the future generations.

In the world of clarity has been often heard a wonderful message like this: “when you speak, you do not only deliver messages, you also open the secret of your heart”. One who criticized the others very often, they unconsciously open the secrets of their burning heart. Those who respect the others, they softly open the secret of their beautiful heart.

In the studies of psycho-linguistic were often discussed, the words do not just the vehicle of messages, the uses of words also influence the journey of souls. Maybe that’s the reason why in places that are often referred as high culture such as UK, people choose their words wisely. While in US the authority will put public announcement like “no smoking”, in UK the authority will put announcement like this: “thank you for not smoking”.

It is much deeper than just words games, it is about the journey of the souls. People who study English knows, the British tend to use words which sounds to be more helpful and more beautiful to the soul growth. In the language of the late famous William Shakespeare, words are everything.

For that reason, it is not coincidence that the world choose English as the global language. The cosmic message is very simple, be careful in choosing words. Choosing words also choose the direction of soul growth. And this is also the reason why the mature souls prefer to use poetry as a medium of expression. Mainly because the taste of poetry is softer and cooler.

At the end of the idea of words that heal the soul, it is worthy to contemplate the following clear message: “Those who insults the others are actually lowering their soul journey. Those who respects the others are actually purifying their soul journey”.

  • Nice article. Thanks for sharing,

I recently wrote how it astounds me how many critics there are these days. Of course, they have always been around but never before in history has it been so easy to find a platform to stand on and preach one’s disagreements. It seems no matter what is said or done there are those waiting with a keyboard to attack.

As you said it is healthier to express one’s anger and disagreement than it is to hold it in, but in some respects it just makes it harder to filter through all the nonsense to find something worth one’s time to read.

I love your closing and could not agree more. Those who have found a soapbox to stand on and preach their individual versions of hatred are only lowering their consciousness while the rest of the planet, especially those who choose Love and Respect must step up their efforts to counterbalance this proliferation of bile.

Thank you for all the Light you share with the planet. I am truly grateful for the Loving wisdom you choose to impart.

    Elliott Teters
