Compassion

Contemplating the meaning of Lover

During your teens in particular, one of the things that makes life so beautiful is having a lover.  Almost 24 hours a day life feels beautiful.

Not only holding her hand, just imagining her smile, it makes our days so beautiful that we can eat so well and sleep so soundly.  In summary it is all “beautiful, beautiful, beautiful”.

The first experience holding hands of the opposite sex, or even the first kiss.  Inside, it feels like butterflies.  Not only does the heart tremble.

Few realize that it’s just a compass for the directions that you should travel.
First, there is a soul hole inside.  That we thought an outsider could cover it up.

A friend from the west who has been married a dozen times tells the story, even after changing partners several times, there still is an unsatisfactory feeling inside.

Secondly, the vibrations are telling a story, using a loved one as a mirror.  Women generally like a fatherly type of man.

Because they miss the sacred masculine energy.  Men generally like motherly women.  Because we miss the sacred feminine energy.  To be safe, here is the answer.

“The way out is in”. Learn less by looking for a way out.  Learn to find it inside.  The vibrations tell us a clear story.

“The cover for the soul hole is inside”.  Start by accepting yourself completely.  Then it grows into a sense of contentment.

Including feeling enough with spiritual achievement.  From a sense of sufficiency grows to a deep sense of gratitude.  It is the closest path to God.

Thirdly, just like the nature of a beautiful flower, the nature of gratitude within will be expressed outwardly in the form of beautiful love.

In the language of the great poet Rumi: “Love is the bridge between you and everything”.  Love is the bridge that connects you to all.

He who is blessed to come here will personally experience it.  Interest in lovers outside decreased drastically.  Replaced with a beautiful hug with a lover inside.

Concretely, no longer interested in pursuing outside.  Have actually found that what we were looking for is already inside.  The smile and eyes of this type of person is very touching.

In meditation classes it is often seen, some friends are just stared at with eyes that are full of acceptance and then they cried.

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
