Life is a Gift of Love

In order to grow up healthy and happy, it is very important to find what psychologists call a “like-minded tribe”.

A group of people with similar hobbies, preferences, calling in life. It is like a bee finding a beautiful flower. Birds find shade trees.

Fish find the ocean. In order to get there, learn to be sensitive from the start. Especially read the signs inside. Safety is a compass.

Because humans are seeds that grow, keep sensitivity along the way. As soon as the environment seems to change, increase alertness.

Protect yourself with care. Above all, always remember this message: “Life is a gift of love”.

Treat yourself and the environment with love. Note, love is not always expressed with the word “yes”. Love is also sometimes expressed with the word “no”.

It’s as simple as a mother who refuses her child’s request for candy because her son is coughing. Remember, when we care for others, the universe will take care of us. When loving others, we will also be loved.

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
