The gates of Nirvana are open

“In the eyes of wisdom, I am nothing. But in the eyes of love, I am everything. My life grows between the two”, Nisargadatta Maharaj

“When love is deep, it will find a way”, this was heard at the Ashram this morning.  Once love is practiced deeply, it naturally opens the way.

As someone who is no longer young, this message is true.  Many times, life has been shaken by many storms, this message has saved us.

When the pain is very deep, Guruji likes to do Gurudev meditation.  Connecting the pain within with the previous pain of the holy soul.

So that pain does not pull down the soul’s journey, instead how to make the soul’s journey continue rises.  This method is very useful.

Whenever logic, feeling, experience and knowledge do not help, the path taken is the path of “giving in is beautiful”.

And it’s true, its uplifting power on the soul’s journey is also very beautiful.  Not only is the human realm becoming respectful, the Light realm is also the same.

Not once or twice did the world of Light come to the Ashram.  Some even come with clear messages of guidance.

One day there were politicians and spiritual teachers fighting over a holy place in Bali.  Their words are not worth telling.

Because Guruji was curious, Guruji asked the secret realm to see what was really happening in the sacred place being fought over.

One night, there was a beautiful light that guided Guruji to reach the holy place.  First of all, the human environment there is very friendly.

Then a beautiful lake appeared there.  When the local residents asked for permission to bathe in the beautiful lake, the residents kindly invited Guruji to come.

Using very polite Balinese language.  Just as the feet touched the water of the lake, a god came and called “Guruji”.

Of course Guruji was shocked, then asked back: “Why do you gods call me a human being as Guruji?”  He just smiled in a respectful manner.

Then accompany Guruji to bathe in this beautiful lake.  In conclusion, the message at the beginning is true: “When love is deep, it finds a way”.

The practical step is, when self-acceptance within is combined with peacefulness shared outward, it opens the Gate of Nirvana.

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
