Compassion

The most glorified trophy on earth and in heaven

This afternoon there was a unique blessing. The sea water recedes again. And again forming a small island in the shape of love. It invited Guruji to do centering yoga there.

Uniquely, without permission, Ibu (Guruji’s Wife) secretly took a photo from behind. Guruji felt deep gratitude not only for the heart-shaped sand.

But the light of the resting sun also forms the shape of the heart. This incident occurred coincidentally on Wednesday, the day of love. Simultaneously happens with the rising of the Full Moon in the East and the resting of the sun in the West.

In the old teachings of Tantra it is written, at the point when the Full Moon stands parallel to the Sun, their nature often gives secret signs.

The attached photo seems to reveal a secret: “The most glorified trophy on earth is love. The most glorified trophy in the sky is also love.”

The invitation to all friends, this cycle of time does contain a lot of violence, but do not allow it to steal our inner love inside.

Instead, use the darkness outside to enhance the inner Light within. Always view all beings as suffering souls.

Poor people suffer because of lackness, rich people suffer because they are afraid of losing, ordinary people suffer because they are full of competition.

From this kind of understanding then a promise is born in the heart, at least to cause as little harm as possible. It’s good if you can love as many sentient beings as possible.

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
