Welcoming World Leaders of G20 in Bali (part 36)

All of us who grow in universities understand, the inner qualities are mostly measured by words that we share. Almost all exams are in the forms of words.

Especially words that representing cleverness. Few who realize, words are energies which invite the coming of counter energies. That’s the mother of all conflicts.

To all light seekeers who know the limit of the words, being harmed by words will deeply understand why Balinese elders have tradition of “koh ngomong”.

Meaning, no longer interested in words. But more interested in silence. Not the ordinary silence, but silence which is embraced by deep understanding.

We all don’t want to suffer, we all want to be happy. Everything is the dance of the same perfection. That’s why Balinese elders whispered: “Nak mula keto”.

Things are perfect as they are. With such kind of peaceful mind, the surrounding environment is full of beauty. Especially because mind is a great power.

It can change the small thing like atom till the surrounding environment. That’s also explain why there are so many fingerprints of beauty (by which read: God) in Bali.

Which attract the praise of the world. In this year of 2022, Ubud Bali is elected as the best city in the world, Club Med concluded that Bali is the most happy tourist destination in the world.

Like lotus appear from calm pond, such peaceful spirit that give birth to many fingerprints of beauty also come from calm and peaceful mind.

The most important tool is no longer words, but “koh ngomong” (not interested in words), nak mula keto (things are perfect as they are).

Suppose that this peaceful vibration of Bali island can be shared to the incoming world leaders to Bali, no doubt many human tragedies can be reduced.

Welcome to Bali world leaders of G20. It is such an honour to share the peaceful vibration of Bali island to all of you. May all beings are happy…

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
