Compassion

Welcoming World Leaders of G20 in Bali (part 38)

“Being a stranger in their own body”, that’s the main characteristic of suffering souls. The body fail to be their own home.

On the contrary, in the life of the masters, body is the most peaceful home and the most sacred temple as well. The difference between the two is simple, how deep your friendship with solitude.

If one is full of fear, ciritique and conflict in solitude, body fail to be the home. If you’re peaceful in solitude, body is the most peaceful home.

Under this light of understanding, it’s understandable if Balinese elders put much emphasis on the training of being alone. Wana prasta, that’s the name.

Spending enough time in the forest. Look at the spelling of forest. It consist of two words: “For and rest”. Simply rest the mind in this moment as it is.

Whatever the blessing of this moment, simply smile. All is blessing. All is the dance of perfection. As a result, the mind will be very calm and clear.

Life is no longer an accumulation of problems, but accumulation solutions. Much deeper, life is a cosmic poetry. Even silence is a poetry.

Like the calm pond give birth to beautiful lotus, health, happiness, peace can easily bloom from the mind which take a rest in this moment as it is.

As soon as all inner conflict stop, one will no longer create conflict outside. As a result, leaders are no longer become the source of violence, but become the fountain of peace.

Imagine we can share the last peaceful spirit of Bali island to the incoming world leaders to Bali, no doubt we can make earth much more peaceful.

Welcome to Bali world leaders of G20. It is such an honour to share the peaceful vibration of Bali island to all of you. May all beings are happy…

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
