Being young forever…

“It’s your strong identification with the body that makes you old. But consciousness is always young”, that’s the messages that I heard this morning in Ashram. Meaning, learn not to be too attach to the body. All body will grow old and die. The beautiful news, there’s part of yourself which is always young. It’s consciousness. To make it simple, consciousness is like space. No wind can change space. It’s similar to sky. No clouds can harm the sky. And deep meditation does help in this case. Particularly by learning to be the witness for years. It’s a long and uneasy journey anyway. I’ve followed this path for more than 40 years.

To make the story short, it’s the combination between mindfulness and mindemptiness. The yin (feminine) aspect is mindemptiness. The yang (masculine) side is mundfulness. Mindfulness is close to wholeness. Where there’s day ther’s night, where there’s rose there’s thorns. Where there’s happiness there’s sadness. Mindemptiness is harder to explain. How can you explain silence using words? How could you explain light to the blind? Only practice of deep meditation which help in this case. Especially by using the gap as the object of meditation. To make it practical, in the moment of stress or depression, mindemptiness is the medicine. In the daily life, mindfulness is the guide. The combination between the two, that’s the spiritual compass of being spiritually young forever. To enrich your journey, now let me give you the following spiritual nutrition.

It involves a holistic approach to life…

The quest to remain youthful has fascinated humanity for centuries, transcending cultures and epochs. It’s an elusive ideal, encompasses more than just physical appearance. It involves a holistic approach to life that includes mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Physically, maintaining youthfulness can be attributed to a healthy lifestyle. Regular exercise, a balanced diet rich in antioxidants, and adequate sleep are essential. These practices help keep the body in peak condition, slowing down the aging process. Advances in skincare and medical science also play a significant role.

However, physical youthfulness is just one aspect. Mental agility and emotional health are equally important. Engaging in lifelong learning, challenging oneself with new skills, and maintaining a curious and open-minded attitude contribute to mental youth. Spirituality, too, plays a crucial role in the art of being young forever. Practices like meditation, mindfulness, and connecting with nature can rejuvenate the soul. A sense of purpose and fulfillment in life can impart a vibrant and youthful energy that transcends physical age. Ultimately, the art of being young forever is about balance and harmony in all aspects of life. It is about nurturing the body, mind, and spirit, embracing change, and maintaining a positive outlook. While we may not be able to halt the passage of time, we can certainly enhance our quality of life and preserve a youthful essence through mindful living and self-care.

Tips and examples…

Since mind play pivotal role in the art being young, please do remember that life is always simpler than what complicated mind used to think. In other words, simple mind is more useful in this case.

While business society tell us to buy more, deep spirituality suggest you to desire less. The difference, more desire makes life complicated, less desire makes body, mind, spirit in harmony.

The strongest people are the ones who are still kind after the world tore them apart. Remember, it’s your smile which is intended to steal the violence of the world. Not the opposite.

The famous Oprah Winfrey once said: “I was raped at the age of 9 years, yet I am one of the most influential women in the world”. The important lesson, dont let the past decide your future.

One of the richest man in the world Bill Gates shared: “I didn’t get complete my unversity education but became the world richest man”. The spiritual nutrition, school only does not make you rich. Certificate is like entering ticket. It’s your true quality that matter.
