Super Wealthy Inside

Each person has a unique relationship with a holy day. Devotees of Shiva are close to moonless nights, the disciples of Buddha love the full moon.

His Holiness Padmasambhawa vibrates in the half-moon night. One is not better than the other. They have their own uniqueness.

Regarding the holy day of the island of Bali, Guruji has felt very close to Sugihan Bali since Guruji was young.

After searching for its meaning for a long time, it turns out that it carries a deep message: “Very wealthy inside”. That’s why friends are always invited to feel rich inside.

When Guruji was picked up at the Ashram yesterday by Ashram’s head of household affairs Kadek Optimist, a sign was read on the road: “Do not forget to give thanks”.

Mixed language which means “don’t forget to be grateful”. Because being grateful is the deepest manifestation of someone who is very rich inside.

Some Balinese people look at people wearing hibiscus flowers with unfriendly eyes. The impression is less positive.

But without night, the stars would not shine brightly. Without violence, humans do not long for peace. Without bad, one does not know which is good.

That is another face of a super rich soul inside. In the last few months, the Compassion family has been the victim of both physical and verbal violence.

Thankfully close friends can be invited to take steps in a measured, orderly and structured manner. Violence on the outside does not breed violence on the inside.

The darkness outside does not give birth to the darkness within. On the other hand, the darkness outside beautifies the Light within.

Happy Sugihan Bali Day to all friends in Bali. May all beings be happy. May beautiful thoughts come from all around.

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
