Peace

The inner lake of peace

Meditation heals you not by changing the bad into the good, not by removing the suffering, but by keep smiling to all.

At the beginning, smile only a small movement of lips. Then it will grow into the lessening grip of dualistic mind. Till one day smile open the secret.

Everything that happen in this realm is the dancing of the same perfection. Sadness is painful, but there are many lessons that come from sadness.

Happiness is beautiful, it’s soul nutrition which make you well-nourished. Those who blame teach you to be careful and humble as well.

Those who praise give you motivating energy. In short, the negative is full of lessons, the positive is full of nourishment. That’s the secret which is opened by smile.

As you practice deeply on this path, inner contentmen arise within. Inner contentment then give birth to gratitude. You’ll have powerful medicine inside: “The mind which is positive outside but holistic inside”.

As a result, healing, happiness and peace is your natural nature. As natural as water which is wet, as natural as flower which is beautiful.

Welcome home beautiful souls. Remember, you’re a bringer of the dawn in your surrounding environment.

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
