The Path of Harmony

When visiting Ashram years ago, one of the famous psychologist in US Kari Joys asked me this question: “Why did you retire from corporate world in a such young age?”.

Bali terorrist bombing that happened in 2002 change my life completely. At that moment I suddenly realize that I climbed the wrong mountain.

And begin to climb the different mountain of spirituality. Strangely, I grow much faster than what I experienced in the corporate world.

The living Guru appear in the dream very often, when I visited my living Guru in Himalaya suddenly he realized me as one of his students in past life.

At the same time, I personally experienced what some Tantric Masters directly experienced in the past. It’s secret ofcourse.

After that, anumber of well-devoted students gathered around me. It’s like lotus finding the mud, frangipani finding dry land, I grew faster in spiritual life.

The spiritual lesson then, as soon as we return back to our natural calling, everything grow naturally. Many gates are opened effortlessly.

Not only spiritual gates, but also material gates as well. It’s still clear in my mind, I dreamed of flying in childhood very often.

The same dream appear many times when I firstly met one of Tibetan master. It’s followed by the journey of life from outside to inside.

The attractiveness of outer life like luxurious car decrease significantly. It’s replaced by simplicity both in outer and inner life.

Strangely, I attained the quality of life that I seldom met when I grew in material life: “Less stress more harmony, less conflict more peace”.

Without much effort, many people came to my meditation classes. Some even cried simply by looking at my eyes, some are healed, some have healthy and happy family.

Social medias help a lot in spreading the light. The teachings that flowing through me not only dispell the darkness in Bali, but also around the world.

My suggestion then, learn to be balance from the beginning. Being balance between material and spiritual life, between personal and social life.

As you grow older, grow from small self (by which read: focus on your happiness only) into greater self (being happy by making the others happy).

Remember, we are blessed with two hands, two eyes, two ears. It simply means, one hand is used to take good care of yourself, the other one is dedicated to serve the others.

Keep in the heart, blowing wind makes kites fly because the kites are balance. In the same way, problems of life will make soul fly as soon as you are balance.

As I personally experienced, many miracles can happen in life when you combine between following natural calling and being balance in daily life.

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
