The Safest Airport of The Souls

The increasing quantity and quality of social diseases everywhere – like war, violence, conflicts, suicide, depression – are clear indicator that there are many souls who fall in this age. Not only fall in this life time, but also fall in the following life. As we all know, the only thing that we transfer from old body to the new one in the moment of death is habitual energy. If the dominant habitual energy is anger, hatred, violence, there’s probability that one will reincarnate as animal. Suicide is the more touching story. To those who committed suicide, without further process will take rebirth in the realm of hungry ghost.

The good news from North Bali, in this realm many things are organic. The same thingg happen with human experience. As long as you’re skillful spiritually, even the worst mistakes can be processed into the path of enlightenment. The story of Milarepa in Tibet, or Kinakilaya in India shared clearly, how the deep devotion to the living Guru can save many spiritual journey. Milarepa made tens of people lost their life, Kinakilaya learned the art of archery from the statue of Drona. Both were successful. To facilitate fellow spiritual travellers to grow and grow, please do note, in our age family is the safest airport of the soul.

The further notes then, only those who find beautiful family inside can develop happy family outside. It’s impossible to make lotus bloom in dry land, in the same way it’s impossible to find joyful family if one is full of conflict inside. For that reason, make sure you learn to be the good family of all emotions, thoughts, experiences. Meditation does help in this case. As a person who has meditated more than 30 years, I personally saved by the deep pracitice of meditation. Particularly in the moment of crisis, deep meditation practice came like beautiful angels who saved my life and my family. To make the story more practical, now let’s dive together, how family can heal countless wounds, illness and problems.

The healing power of family…

Family can be a profound source of healing, offering emotional support, stability, and unconditional love. In times of stress, grief, or personal challenges, the presence of family can provide a crucial anchor. The healing power of family lies in its unique ability to foster a sense of belonging and understanding that is often unparalleled.

One significant aspect of family healing is emotional support. Family members, who often know each other deeply, can offer empathy and comfort that is tailored to individual needs. This emotional safety net can mitigate feelings of loneliness and isolation, promoting mental well-being. Shared experiences and collective memories also play a vital role in this support system, as reminiscing about past joys can provide solace during tough times.

Family alleviate the burden, increase the confidence…

As further explanation, families often provide practical support that is essential during recovery. Whether it’s helping with daily tasks, offering financial assistance, or simply being present, these tangible acts of care can alleviate the burden on an individual, allowing them to focus more on healing. This kind of support can be particularly critical during physical recovery from illness or surgery, where the presence of loved ones can enhance the healing process.

The sense of identity and stability that family provides is another cornerstone of its healing power. Knowing that there is a group of people who will stand by you through thick and thin can build resilience and foster a positive outlook. This stability can also be especially beneficial for children and adolescents, offering them a secure environment in which they can develop and thrive.

Energy that heals…

Since we grow together for years in the family, the energy of people in family relatively similar. The last similarity of energy bring the environment of healing. Suppose that the children have health problems. The presence of parents and siblings, who have many good memories together, who help each others for years, will certainly bring energy of healing. At least by reminding the positive qualities of the sick. The healing power even more powerful if the family have the sincerity and the emphaty to listen, help, and love.

Former US president Barrack Obama is a beautiful story. He lost his father in the age of 2 years old. However, the quantity and the quality of love and support from his family (his mother, his wife) play pivotal role in making him as the first black man who become the president of USA.

In summary, eventhough many souls fall in this age, there’s still family who can functions as the safest airport of the soul. But do remember, find the joyful family inside first, by then you can nurture happy family outside,

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
