Peace

Welcoming World Leaders of G20 in Bali (part 44)

Everytime Balinese make offerings, flowers are available everywhere. Flowers are not only used in the offerings, but also used in the moment of praying.

Few people who deeply contemplate the spiritual messages which are hidden behind flowers. Beauty is the first message.

It keeps reminding, beauty outside is holy bell to remind all of you to the true beauty inside. Among all inner beauties, the most beautiful one is deep gratitude.

Under the guidance of deep gratitude, all prayers will invite the coming of flowers. From flowers of health, happiness, joy until peace.

The second spiritual message behind flower is impermanence. Beautiful flowers today will become waste in the following day.

The same thing happen to sad-glad, joy-sorrow, friend-foe, true-false, right-wrong. When you deeply understand the nature of things which are impermanence, you’ll meet less anger but more flower.

The third spiritual message behind flower, flower is the way of silence to whisper poetry. It’s the most beautiful poetry that ever written.

Spiritual seekers used to call the last poetry as the ultimate peace. Balinese elders called Parama Shanti. That’s also the reason why Balinese elders celbrate new year as silence day. Calling God as Embang (The ultimate silence).

Any souls who have written the last poetry in the depth of soul will become the source of peace to all beings. Even the blinking eyes will share peace.

If we are blessed, that’s the spirit that we are going to transfer to the incoming world leaders of G20 who will meet in Bali.

Welcome to Bali world leaders of G20. It is such an honour to share the peaceful vibration of Bali island to all of you. May all beings are happy…

About the author

H.H. Guruji Gede Prama

Gede Prama started his spiritual journey through a dialogue with his symbolic Guru in a village at the north of Bali. The journey is then being enriched with his experiences of studying abroad, his meetings with the world greatest spiritual Gurus: His Holiness Dalai Lama, The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as Professor Karen Armstrong; and also being deepened by his intense meditation practices.

Despite the fact that he was once a CEO of a large corporation with thousand of employees, and was traveling abroad frequently for the purpose of teaching, yet, being deeply moved by the Bali bombing incident in 2002, he then decided to leave everything and went back to his home island.
He has never leave Bali for the past few years. In fact, he rarely leaves the silence of the forest where he lives, except for the purpose of teaching at the sacred sites within Bali.
