All spiritual friends who come to Balinese temples know, outside the temples there are statues with the cloth of black and white.
As soon as you enter the innermost temples, the colour of black and white are replaced by the colour of yellow and white. It’s the symbol of Shiva-Buddha.
One of the interpretation, as long as the spirit is still “outside’, people will be full of conflict. Right against wrong, holy against dirty.
Sadly speaking, most of modern education grow in the territorry of black and white. Few who realize, it water the inner seeds of violence.
The beautiful story from the island of love Bali, you are invited to go “inside”. Don’t spend the whole life “outside”.
That’s why one of the name of sacred temple in Bali is Pura Dalem (The inner temple). While the life “outside” is full of words, the life “inside” is full of silence.
Simply because words are energy which invite the counter energy. No matter how sophisticated the argument is, there will be counter argument.
As soon as you say right, there will be someone call it wrong. If you mention holy, there will be the others who call it dirty.
Only in the depth of silence those conflicting energies will completly stop. As a person who is no longer young, I witness the life of many leaders.

It’s always like that. That’s why I am not interested in criticizing leaders, I am only interested in sharing beautiful smile to all leaders.
No the ordinary smile, but smile which comes from deep understanding that everything is the dance of the same God, the smile of the same Buddha.
